This tutorial covers how to light and shade an interior scene using MAXtoA. The above render uses the standard_surface shader to create a variety of materials. The scene is lit with a light 'Portal' in combination with Skydome lighting and an HDR map.  This tutorial also covers some ray depth and sampling issues for when rendering interiors. The scene setup and rendering should take no longer than an hour. The scene used in this example is part of this collection of architectural interiors.
