AXF shaders can be imported into Maya for use with MtoA via the aiAxfShader.

If the geometry is colored pink it could be because the path to the shader is incorrect or that particular .axf file is not currently supported (namely car paints).


Axf Filename

The path to the .axf file that you want to be applied to the surface.

Axf Texture Path

A directory in which textures extracted from the axfFile need to be placed. Consideration should be made when rendering across a network using the texture path.

UV Scale

Controls how the texture is wrapped around the object. Higher values increase the number of repetitions of the texture(s) across the surface of the object.

Xrite’s default scale is meters, whereas Maya's is centimeters. Therefore you may need UV scales in the range of n*100.
